About El Zonte Point

El Zonte Point is the heart of Bitcoin Beach, the rocky right-hand point break that draws surfers from around the world and the cluster of beach bars, hostels and the original Bitcoin-accepting businesses (Garten Hotel, surf hostels, the Hope House nonprofit) that seeded the circular crypto economy. This is the most photographed, highest-footfall slice of the village and the epicentre of its short-term-rental demand. Proximity to the break commands the strongest premiums and occupancy in El Zonte. Beachfront and walk-to-surf lots reach the top of the range near $1,058/m2 and must be held via a Salvadoran corporation or trust within the 100-metre coastal zone. Furnished surf rentals and small boutique units generate 8-9% gross yields with peak-season occupancy, though investors should underwrite for the emerging STR saturation analysts have flagged at the most-listed addresses.
