About Pyla

Pyla is the island's only village where Greek and Turkish Cypriots have lived side by side without interruption, its square famously hosting a church and a mosque together, a quiet symbol of coexistence within the UN buffer zone, beside the British Dhekelia base. Day-to-day life is calm and rural, with village tavernas and the nearby CTO/Pyla beach.
