About Southbank

Southbank is Melbourne's densest and most vertical neighbourhood, a forest of apartment towers lining the south bank of the Yarra River, directly opposite the CBD. The Southbank Promenade buzzes with restaurants and street performers, while the Arts Precinct, NGV, Arts Centre Melbourne and Crown Entertainment Complex anchor the city's cultural and entertainment life. With a median age around 31 and roughly two-thirds of homes rented, Southbank is dominated by young professionals, students and city workers drawn to walk-to-work convenience. The market is overwhelmingly apartment-based, offering some of the inner city's strongest unit rental yields and a fast-paced, cosmopolitan lifestyle within minutes of everything Melbourne's centre offers.
