Liberty Village is an adaptive-reuse, industrial-chic neighbourhood west of downtown, the Liberty Market Building and Toy Factory Lofts sit beside new glass towers, and more than 70% of residents are aged 25-44 in a renter-dominant market. It functions as a self-contained urban village: 40+ restaurants and bars, grocery, gyms and pocket parks, with a Walk Score in the low 90s, the 504 King streetcar and Exhibition GO on its doorstep. For investors the draw is chronic young-professional rental demand and downtown proximity, offset by being in the eye of Toronto’s 2025-26 condo correction (studios and 1-beds softest, functional 2-beds more resilient). Public-realm upgrades like the new 34 Hanna park are a longer-term tailwind.
