Anse Etoile

Anse Etoile stretches along the northern coast of Mahe just above Victoria, the most residential and least touristy of the capital's northern districts. It is a genuine local community, where a traditional fishing economy sits alongside residential streets across sub-areas such as Pointe Conan, Ma Constance and La Gogue, and where people live and work rather than holiday. The district offers community sports facilities, coastal access and the convenience of the capital a few minutes south. For investors it is more a long-term residential play than a holiday-let market, in a high-priced and supply-constrained setting. As everywhere in Seychelles, the decisive consideration for foreign buyers is the government Sanction required under the Immovable Property Act, which carries a 12% duty on market value.
