Liman

Liman is where Novi Sad goes green and modern. Built on reclaimed Danube marshland between the 1960s and 1990s, its four numbered sub-districts stretch along the river beside the main University of Novi Sad campus, threaded with the wide lawns of Liman Park and leading down to the Štrand, the city's beloved sandy river beach. Families value the space, parks and schools; students fill the flats nearest the campus, where units let within a couple of weeks. For investors that means some of the country's fastest-letting, most reliable rental stock with solid yields; the cautions are dated socialist-era buildings that often need renovation and Serbia's exposure to EU and regional economic cycles.
